Instant Message me @ChloeKellyXXX

Statistics:   I'm single, 5'7" tall and weigh 128 lbs with RED HAIR and green eyes.  My measurements are 36C-25-36.  I was born in 1947 but I'm going to leave the math up to you to figure out how old I am.  I am of Irish descent (but 1/4 of me is Cherokee Indian) and am  the Grandmother of a 7 1/2 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and another granddaughter born May 25, 2005.  I'm also a UCLA alumna - GO BRUINS!.  By the way, I started up Chloe's Corner XXX on a dare from a girlfriend of mine.  She still can't believe that I did it!

Activities:  I am a Class A tennis player (but slipping fast because I have to play a bunch of 45 year old "kids") in my age bracket and I enjoy swimming and "pumping a little iron" to keep fit.

Occupation:  I used to work as a commodities trader  but, thanks to a couple of nice investments, I now own two businesses in addition to running Chloe's Corner XXX.  So now, I work only for Chloe Kelly.

Interests:  I love to curl up with a good book  as often as I can and I also enjoy gourmet cooking when my busy schedule permits.  When I really want to relax, though, I love to work in my flower gardens, despite the fact that I don't have a "green thumb".  I also collect art (not originals only serigraphs) and own 17 Thomas Kinkade's, 2 Mark King's, and 4 Leroy Neiman's.  I just bought a Thomas Pradzynski suite of three paintings while I was in Hawaii this last time.  Now I'm on the lookout for a Viktor Shvaiko painting (just bought "April In Paris" on Valentine's Day).  Just bought a painting from an emerging Artist, Joseph Lorusso, and two Cao Yong paintings.  For the first time in 2002, I have A Fantasy Football Team and a Fantasy Hockey Team - great fun.

Recent books that I've read with my own personal review

"Dutch" Edmund Morris - Absolutely phenomenal biography of Ronald Reagan

"Personal Injuries" Scott Turow - Couldn't get into this one at all

"Jupiter's Bones" Faye Kellerman - Liked this one a lot!

"The Lion's Game" Nelson DeMille - Almost a Top 10 book for me!!!

"Monster" Jonathan Kellerman - Very good!

"The Attorney" Steve Martini - I like all his books!

"Timeline" Michael Crichton - Not a big sci-fi fan but I liked this one!

"The Brethren" John Grisham - Better than some of his latest books

"Who Moved My Cheese" Spencer Johnson M.D. - I didn't find any revelations about coping with change in one's personal life or business career in this one; can't quite figure out why it's all the rage right now

"Flags Of Our Fathers" James Bradley - Part of my revisitation of my parents' generation, the Greatest Generation; a story about the slaughterhouse that was the battle of Iwo Jima and the 6 men who raised the flag on Mt. Suribachi - INTENSE!!

"Easy Prey" John Sandford - I think you'll like this one.

"The Run" Stuart Woods - This one looks like it will be entertaining.  I like it!

"The Human Stain" Philip Roth - I'm 90 pages into this one and cannot get with it at all!  UNCLE, after 170 pages, I quit.

"Before I Say Good-Bye" Mary Higgins Clark - This one gets 3 stars out of 5.

"Standoff" Sandra Brown - Pretty good - 3 stars.

"McNally's Folly" Lawrence Sanders - Lawrence Sanders died about two years ago but his estate commissioned another author, Vincent Lardo, to carry on the Archy McNally series of books.  They aren't literary masterpieces but are thoroughly enjoyable and humorous detective novels.  This is the 9th book in the series and second written by the new author.  They are all 5 stars for me.

"Ten Things I Wish I'd Known Before I Went Out Into The Real World" Maria Shriver - Absolutely FANTASTIC; a one sitting book; 5 stars for me; don't miss this one.

"Omerta" Mario Puzo - The third and final book in this Mafia trilogy and absolutely great; 5 stars.

"Cradle And All" James Patterson - This one was rather hard to get into; 2 stars out of 5.

"Hot Six" Janet Evanovich - I really enjoyed this one. Stephanie Plum is the recurring character here and she is a female bounty hunter.  This book was very humorous and entertaining reminding me of the Archy McNally series of books.  I'll definitely read another one of this author's books.  Now I'll take on Tom Clancy's latest.

"The Bear And The Dragon" Tom Clancy - I'm about 2/3s of the way through this one and it's just another super book from this author!  I'm finished and it's worth 5 Stars.

"Crisis Four" Andy McNab - not all that hot.

"To The Best Of My Ability: The American Presidents" James M. McPherson - Very heavy reading but incredibly timely as this is not the first time in our history that vote counts have come under question and multiple parties have vied for the Presidency at the expense of other candidates.  This book does, indeed, offer a fresh perspective on that most fascinating group of Americans: the American Presidents.  Great book to read, particularly, at this time. 5 Stars.

"Dust To Dust" Tami Hoag - another excellent and entertaining book from this author.

"Band Of Brothers" Stephen E. Ambrose - A story of a Company of the 101st Airborne Division in World War II from the time they entered the U.S. Army through the defeat of Germany in 1945.  Another tribute to "The Greatest Generation".  I can't wait for the HBO Series Special, produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, coming September 9th.

"Roses Are Red" James Patterson - I liked this one! ***

"Code To Zero" Ken Follett - This one's just OK. **

"The Informant" Kurt Eichenwald - This is an unbelievable true story about one of the most captivating and bizarre tales in the history of the FBI and corporate America.  You'd think that Michael Crichton wrote this as a piece of fiction.  I'm only 100 pages into this one but it will be ***** for me.  Done - UNBELIEVABLE!

"The First Counsel" Brad Meltzer - Storyline is so implausible that it defies credibility. **

"The Arrogance Of Power" Anthony Summers - A biography of Richard M. Nixon presenting a stark portrait of the man whose personal torments came to have such a damaging impact on fifty years of American history. ****

"A Painted House" John Grisham - Absolutely outstanding story about a young boy's journey from innocence to experience.  Almost a Top 10 book for me and the best John Grisham has ever done.*****  A Hallmark Hall of Fame Special premieres on April 27, 2003.

"Three To Get Deadly" Janet Evanovich - another absolutely entertaining book about female bounty hunter, Stephanie Plum.  These books are great fun.

"The Kill Artist" Daniel Silva - I'm only 50 pages into this one but it's going to be great!  I can tell already.  A MUST READ book!*****

"IBM And The Holocaust" Edwin Black - Very heavy and intense reading in this book about the strategic alliance between Nazi Germany and America's most powerful corporation. ****

"1st To Die" James Patterson - Read this one in three sittings and liked it immensely.  One of the rare times that I was able to predict the ending (correctly, that is).****

"We Were Soldiers Once ... And Young" Lt. Gen. Harold G. Moore - What a title!  Another visit to the decade that served as the backdrop for my ritual passage into adulthood.  This book is an incredible story about the 1st Cavalry Division and the battle of the Ia Drang Valley in 1965 where young boys didn't have to grow up - they just grew old before their time.*****  In an upcoming gallery, I'll be wearing a 1st Cav patch.  Mel Gibson is producing and starring in this movie that is now in initial editing and, I'm guessing, might be a Christmas release.

"A Darkness More Than Night" Michael Connelly - Despite the great title, I could not get into this one at all.*

"The Last Precinct" Patricia Cornwell - I've had it with the Kay Scarpetta character and her niece, Lucy.  The first half of this book was nothing more than a rehash of previous books.*

"One For The Money" "Four To Score" "High Five"  Janet Evanovich - After  reading "We Were Soldiers Once ... And Young" , I needed a major pick me up, so I went on a Stephanie Plum frenzy.  Great fun!!

"Chosen Prey" John Sandford - An outstanding book deserving of its position on the bestseller lists. *****

"Body Of Secrets" James Bamford - This no-holds-barred examination of the ultra-secret National Security Agency is heavy reading but incredibly interesting.  This one will take you a long time to get through, I might add. ****

"Seabiscuit" Laura Hillenbrand - A great book about the rags-to-riches horse that became an American cultural icon.*****

"Ghost Soldiers" Hampton Sides - The forgotten epic World War II story about the 6th Ranger Battalion's dramatic mission to save 513 survivors of the Bataan Death March incarcerated in the hellish Cabanatuan prison camp in January 1945.  A phenomenal book and another tribute to "The Greatest Generation". *****

"Seven Up"  Janet Evanovich - The 7th in the Stephanie Plum series and, as always, a kick to read.****

"McNally's Chance" Lawrence Sanders (Vincent Lardo) - My umpteenth Archy MaNally book and I just dug into this one.  I love this character. I know this one will be *****

"The Jury" Steve Martini - One of my favorite authors and I love the Paul Madriani character.  These are always ***** for me.

"Elvis In The Morning" William F. Buckley Jr. - A panorama of transition and dissent, of friends staying true despite distance and time, of a nation in change, of the effects of celebrity on innocence, and of the brilliant yet catastrophic life of a musical genius.  Terrific book!

"Envy" Sandra Brown - This was a book that just went a bit too slow for me and I couldn't really get into it.  I'm not going to give it a thumbs down because I think many people will like it.  It just wasn't my cup of tea. ***

"Jackdaws" Ken Follett - Terrific book about the French Resistance in World War II.  Ladies, believe it or not, you'll enjoy this one. *****

"Last Man Standing" David Baldacci - Another great book from one of my favorite authors.  If you like Hostage Rescue Team action, you'll love this one. ****

"The Summons" John Grisham - More of the same here but I guess it's a tough act to follow after writing "A Painted House" **

"Up Country" Nelson DeMille - My favorite author does it again with the second Paul Brenner novel (The General's Daughter).  Great reading, especially for you Vietnam veterans.  *****

"Valhalla Rising" Clive Cussler - I just don't know how Dirk Pitt keeps on going (after all, he's my age) but he does.  This one is very interesting reading, I might add.  ****

"Violets Are Blue" James Patterson - Another entertaining book from this author but I am starting to tire of the Alex Cross character ****

"The Sigma Protocol" Robert Ludlum - just a so-so book for me; I've never really been a big Ludlum fan ***

"Fire Ice" Clive Cussler - my first book with Cussler's new character Kurt Austin; very entertaining but completely far-fetched ****

"Hard Eight" Janet Evanovich - OK, I'm now tired of the Stephanie Plum character.  This one was just more of the same **

"The Beach House" James Patterson - I liked this one a lot ****

"McNally's Alibi" Vincent Lardo - my upteenth Archy McNally book and I love them all - great fun *****

"Spin Cycle" Howard Kurtz - reveals the inside workings of Bill Clinton's well-oiled propaganda machine - arguably, the most successful team of White House spin doctors in history - terrific book *****

"Let Freedom Ring" Sean Hannity - written by one of the hottest phenomenons in TV and talk radio today - he offers a survey of the world - political, social, and cultural - as he sees it - if you're a conservative, you'll love it - if you're a liberal, you'll detest it - *****

"Chasing The Dime" Michael Connelly - A very entertaining book that centers around the porn industry ***

"Stolen Valor"  B.G. Burkett and Glenna Whitley - An extremely disconcerting book about how the Vietnam Generation has been robbed of its heroes and its history and how severely denigrated the service, patriotism, and gallantry of some of the best warriors America has ever produced has become.  Very heavy reading but *****

"Blood Work" Michael Connelly - Another terrific thriller from this author and one that I liked very much ****

"Worst Fears Realized" Stuart Woods - Here's another great thriller that I recommend ****

"Red Rabbit" Tom Clancy - I've read every one of Clancy's books and this one ranks right up there.  It's particularly interesting because he takes Jack Ryan back to the early 80s and the Cold War ****

"The King of Torts" John Grisham - Excluding "A Painted House", it's been sometime since I read a Grisham book that I really liked but this one passed the test ****

"The Confessor" Daniel Silva - An absolutely terrific spy novel touching on the Israelis, the Holocaust, and the Vatican *****

"Prey" Michael Crichton - I power read my way throught this extremely entertaining novel; this one is a bit implausible but still another terrific piece of work.

"Sons of Fortune" Jeffrey Archer - The plot of this book is so farfetched as to defy any credibility whatsoever *

"Executive Power" Vince Flynn - My first book by this author and I loved it.  In fact, I'm going to seek out another of his books called "Separation Of Power" *****

"The Arraignment" Steve Martini - This one's plot may be a shade over the top but I still liked this one as I do all of this author's books ****

"The Da Vinci Code" Dan Brown - An absolutely terrific experience and a TOP 10 book for me *****

"Dirty Work" Stuart Woods - My second  book by this author and his Stone Barrington character and a book that I'm very high on ****

"The Lake House" James Patterson - Unlike "The Beach House" I did not care for this one very much **

"White Death" Clive Cussler - Like all this author's books the plot is incredulous but all of his books, like this one, are enjoyable reading ***

"McNally's Dare" Vincent Lardo - Just knocked off my 12th Archy McNally book and, like the preceding eleven, it was great fun and very enjoyable*****

"Lost Light" Michael Connelly - This author has rapidly become one of my favorites.  This book is absolutely terrific*****

"Living History" Hillary Clinton - If you're a Hillary Clinton fan, you'll probably like this one (although my best friend, who is an ultra liberal Democrat, thought it was only so-so), I thought it was disgustingly self-serving (but, then again, I suppose that most autobiographies are) *

"The Teeth Of The Tiger" Tom Clancy - I've read all of Tom Clancy's books and have enjoyed all of them, some more than others.  This one is not his best work but is, still, quite entertaining. Hint - Jack Ryan's grown son takes over the lead here ***

"Secret Father" James Carroll - This was an awful book.  I had trouble keeping track of both the characters and the plot throughout the entire book - one giant struggle for me *

"To The Nines" Janet Evanovich - It had been a long time since I read a Stephanie Plum novel and I needed it after reading "Secret Father".  Great fun and very entertaining ***

"The Hanged Man's Song" John Sandford - I enjoyed this book very much and the character Kidd.  There are three other books with this character and I'll try to get them all ****

"The Tristan Betrayal"  Robert Ludlum - This is a very entertaining book set in occupied France, Germany, and Russia in 1940.  It was, however, just a bit too incredulous to me that the hero was able to get into and out of all the tough spots he found himself in ***

"Bias" Bernard Goldberg - A CBS News insider exposes how liberal bias pervades the mainstream media.  For you conservatives it will validate why you've been crying foul all these years and for you liberals it will acknowledge and affirm why you do not think there is a liberal bias *****

"Wooden" John Wooden with Steve Jamison - An absolutely terrific book in which this legendary basketball coach offers a lifetime of observations and reflections on and off the court *****

"Ten Big Ones" Janet Evanovich - Another very entertaining Stephanie Plum novel ***

"Worse Than Watergate" John Dean - Yes, the author is a convicted felon and disbarred lawyer.  If you're a George Bush hater, you'll love this book.  If not, it will seem to you that the author made all his conclusions and then searched for data to support them.  That said, this is a very interesting and entertaining book ****

"Plan Of Attack" Bob Woodward - The definitive account of how and why President George W. Bush, his war council, and allies launched a preemptive attack to topple Saddam Hussein and occupy Iraq - a terrific and insightful book *****

"Unfit For Command" John E. O'Neill and Jerome R. Corsi Ph.D. - Read it! *****

"3rd Degree"  James Patterson - Another suspenseful thriller from this author featuring the Women's Murder Club ****

"Angels And Demons"  Dan Brown - an absolutely super book featuring the character Robert Langdon in his first adventure.  Yes, this is the same author and character from "The Da Vinci Code" *****

"Memorial Day"  Vince Flynn - a great political thriller featuring the character of Mitch Rapp ****

"Secrets Of The Code"  Dan Burstein - The unauthorized guide to the mysteries behind "The Da Vinci Code" sorts out the facts, informed speculation, and fiction by presenting the views of the experts.  This is an excellent follow-on book to "The Da Vinci Code" but, be advised, it is very heavy reading ***

"McNally's Bluff"  Vincent Lardo - I need a fun book after reading the book above and this one fit the bill perfectly.  I've read all the Archy McNally books and have loved them all ****

"Because He Could"  Dick Morris - An absolutely terrific book by the former senior advisor to Bill Clinton that gives a frank and perceptive deconstruction of the story Clinton tells in "My Life" along with many more revealing stories that he left untold *****

"Deception Point"  Dan Brown - This author is rapidly becoming one of my favs.  This is an excellent bit of entertainment ****

"Black Wind"  Clive Cussler - Despite the fact that all of these books have plots that are so improbable as to defy credibility, they are still great fun to read and most entertaining ***

"The Broker"  John Grisham - This is an excellent book and, although I found the ending somewhat unsettling (I got the feeling that the main character would be back in a sequel), well worth reading ****

"London Bridges"  James Patterson - The Alex Cross character re-surfaces in another entertaining book from this author ***

"The Vanished Man"  Jeffrey Deaver - This was a great book featuring Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme character.  Very entertaining ****

"The Kite Runner"  Khaled Hosseini - This is the first book written by this author taking us from Afghanistan in the final days of the monarchy to present day.  This book, probably, isn't going to be everyone's "cup of tea" but I enjoyed it ***

"Prince Of Fire"  Daniel Silva - This is an absolutely terrific book by one of my favorite authors *****

"Night Fall"  Nelson DeMille - It's been about three years between books for my all-time favorite author.  This is a sensational book centered around the TWA 800 disaster and featuring the same character from "The Lion's Game" and "Plum Island" *****

"Conviction"  Richard North Patterson - This is a very entertaining book focused on the death penalty in this country - not a fun book to read but still quite good ***

"The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy"  Byron York -   Don't misread the title of this book as it is not a liberals bashing book  but, instead, a look at how liberal activists have harnessed their anger at George W. Bush to build the biggest, richest, and best organized political movement in American history ***

"Atomic Iran"  Dr. Jerome R. Corsi - A very scary story about this rogue terrorist nation that threatens stability in the Middle East ****

"The Closers"  Michael Connelly - Another spellbinding thriller from one of my favorite authors set in Los Angeles *****

"The Forgotten Man"  Robert Crais - The first book that I've read from the author featuring his recurring character private investigator Elvis Cole and is enigmatic partner Joe Pike in an edge-of-your-seat suspense novel ****

"4th of July"  James Patterson -  Another excellent book from this author that features Detective Lindsay Boxer and the Women's Murder Club back for the fourth time in their most chilling case to date ****

"Broken Prey"  John Sandford - This book features recurring character Lucas Davenport in another very entertaing book (I've been on a roll with good books lately) ****

"The Truth About Hillary"  Edward Klein - An excellent book about one of the most polarizing figures in American politics; whether you love her or hate her, I highly recommend this book*****

"The Ezekial Option"  Joel C. Rosenberg - A chilling political thriller about the world rushing to the brink of an apocalypse prophesied more than 2,500 years ago****

"Spencerville"  Nelson DeMille - An early on book from my favorite author that is not as good as his later novels but still very entertaining***

"The Plot Against America"  Philip Roth - Although I absolutely loved the plot here, I had great difficulty enjoying this one because of the way the story was told through the eyes of a Jewish family in Newark, NJ in the early 1940s**
